Illustration and website design for a local dance team
The goal was to embody the Hawaiian spirit of dance while incorporating the Plumeria flower.
The Plumeria flower conveys the Aloha spirit - love, kindness, and respect. I combined the image and word for the shirt front.
The design needed to be cost-conscious, printing one ink, with many color options for different apparel needs.
The website needed a more direct identification with Coastside Hula for those unfamiliar with Hawaiian dance, culture, and language.
